About these terms

These terms cover the Bouncer iPhone app, website, and support services. Together, they are the “Service.” By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Website and App Store link

Information on the website may change and does not promise that every feature or offer will be available in every country or on every device.

The website links to Bouncer on the Apple App Store. Apple controls Store availability, downloads, purchases, and the Store page shown for your country or region.

What Bouncer does

Bouncer helps you restrict distracting apps by applying rules through Apple Screen Time APIs. You choose your rules and remain responsible for how you configure and use them.

Bouncer depends on Apple system services. We cannot promise that blocking will always be uninterrupted or that using Bouncer will produce a particular personal result. Do not rely on Bouncer for an emergency, safety-critical duty, or legal obligation.

Subscriptions and purchases

Purchases are processed through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Bouncer does not receive or store your card details.

Bouncer offers a Monthly auto-renewing subscription and a one-time Lifetime purchase. Monthly includes a seven-day introductory free trial if Apple confirms you are eligible. Eligibility is shared across the subscription group. Lifetime is a single payment with no trial and no renewal. It unlocks the complete iPhone app for the Apple account that bought it. Existing Weekly and Yearly subscriptions continue under the terms shown when you subscribed. The paywall and Apple purchase confirmation show the current price, billing period, trial eligibility and, for a subscription, the renewal terms and renewal date before you buy. These details control your purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel through your Apple account before renewal. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not shorten a period already paid for. A Lifetime purchase does not renew. If access ends, Bouncer gates the app, but rules that were already armed can continue to enforce. Cancelling does not unlock them.

Apple handles App Store refunds under its policies. We cannot issue those refunds directly.

Acceptable use

Use the Service only for lawful, personal purposes. Do not interfere with or overload the Service, evade its security or usage limits, use automated access, reverse-engineer it except where the law permits, or use it in a way that harms another person.

Our content and software

Bouncer’s software, website, mascot, name, text, graphics, and other brand assets are protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Service under these terms and the applicable App Store rules. We do not transfer ownership of the Service or its content to you.

Third-party services

The Service depends on third parties, including Apple, RevenueCat, PostHog, Google Analytics, and Cloudflare. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to the services they provide. We are not responsible for the content or practices of a third-party website or service that you choose to open.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue part or all of the Service. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Where reasonable, we will give notice of a material change that affects an available paid service.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law permits, we make no implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will meet every expectation. Some places do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so these exclusions may not fully apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bouncer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Apple App Store

When Bouncer is distributed through the Apple App Store, these terms are between you and Bouncer, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support. You must also follow the App Store terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce the App Store provisions against you.

Updates

We may update these terms when the website, app, or law changes. The effective date at the top shows the current version. If a change materially affects your rights in an available service, we will provide reasonable notice. Continuing to use the Service after the change means you accept the updated terms.
